Nose: peat, iodine & phenol, strong cherrywood smoke notes, campfire and firm barbecue. With water, additional oaky vanilla comes through and sweet perfumey aromatics. Taste: distinctly smokey. Hardwood smoke and more of the phenolic notes and ocean water. Orange and cherry blossom and sweet vanilla. Soft sherry note in the background. Long finish and sits on the palate evolving over time. Body: full and rich. Slick on the palate. Overall: Worldclass and simply spectacular.
