Duncan Taylor BlackBull 12yo blend

Really scared with this one at first. I really thought this bottle was going to be one of my worst. First try was nice when nosing and got better over 10min but taste wise was nothing but chalky cocoa and vanilla sweetness. Gave this one some time to breath like I do with all my new bottles and second time around was much better. Chalkiness was gone and now I have the Scottish version of American Bourbon. Sweet Bourbon vanilla with light chocolate, citrus. Couple drops of water and 10mins mellows this out to a nice evening dram.
