I started drinking whisky when a bottle was bought for me in 2006, started off small and have since worked my way up through to the quality malts and blends. Love going to Whisky shows with a couple of my close mates, and havent really found a whisky I wouldnt drink again!

I'm hoping that this site will allow me to meet like-minded individuals who enjoy the good stuff as much as I do!

I warn you now, my reviews are very basic, I'm afraid I dont go into too much detail with characteristics and proper tasting notes, but I feel they get the point across!

Location: Basildon, Essex

Favourite whisky(s): Yamazaki, Laphroaig,

Hey dude, really great to see you too at Pure! Wish I could have been there to help the team out more, but was very enjoyable savouring some whiskies together on the sunday! Hope to see you soon at the next event (probably TWE whisky show I'd imagine), in the meantime will definitely get my ass into gear and start putting up some more reviews again! Take care, O

This bottle came into my possession mainly thanks to the sharp eyes of my dad, who spotted it on the back of a fellow milkmans van. Now the story is that the other milko was going to drop this bottle off… read more

I was drawn to this bottling after seeing an interview with John Glaser on the whisky marketplace video done by Connosr’s very own Pierre! The small bottle makes a difference as it stood out once I’d put… read more

Ah Ardbeg, generally the beast of Islay, and the Blasda is promoted as essentially the softer side of the distillery and region. After getting through a bottle of this, I find it hard to disagree! Of … read more
