I was first introduced to single malt whisky while attending a tasting on holiday in Scotland 10 years ago. I then visited my first distillery, Glengoyne, where I bought my first bottle of single malt. Since then I have enjoyed many whiskies. Although it was the Scottish single malt that hooked me, I have since discovered that there are also many superb bourbons and blends, and made in many countries which I have still to experience. How exciting. A future holiday has to include a grand tour of the whisky distilleries in Scotland. I hope one day to be able to boast a whisky cabinet stocked with a variety of whiskies from numerous lands.
