Have recently become fascinated with whisky, and have started sampling a few and writing my own tasting notes. Very excited to learn more about this world - my current favourites are Alberta ryes, bourbons and Islay malts. Most interested in sampling more Scotches as well as discovering Japanese whiskys.

Hi BIAB (or LT Do or whoever you are!) - I would love to go to Feis Ile however the timing sucks, as a) there is a conference in my industry around that time that my colleagues go to, so I'm stuck in the office, and b) my ex-wife goes away at a conference so I have full-on daddy-daughter time with my 8-year-old.
It's too bad, as Feis Ile is around my birthday - what a treat that would be!
I am thinking of going around the fall, maybe late Sept / early Oct? Which gives me time to save up and bring back some bottles!
Cheers, Tom
