Tasting Notes by DarkBee

Being in my local pub I knew it was that time. The time to taste a new scotch. On previous visits to the pub I've tasted some Black Bottle, Glenlivet 12y and Oban 14y.

The nose of the Dun Bheagan was something complety different from those ones. The nose was not shrill as the other ones but light and fruity, I'd say it has a similar nose as some white ports I have drunk. The color of the scotch made me assume it would be a sweet taste but I was not prepared for what I really tasted. The scotch has a particular taste i haven't experienced before in any other scotch I drank. I was experiencing a sweet fruity taste in my mounth which made want more of this scotch. I was surprised by the taste and at first I couldn't place the honeyish taste the scotch has. Only after looking up the scotch I could really place the taste of the honey in it.

Most certainly a scotch u have to taste if u are in to the more sweet scotch and one I'll certainly keep my eye out for in the future.
