Nose: definitely some fruit(cherries, marmalade). Also lots of honey. Soft and sweet, with just a hint of smoke. Simple but effective.

Taste: that fruity sweetness combines with the firm bite of young grain whisky. Light-bodied, smooth but hits you with bitterness at the back of the tongue. Pleasant on the rocks.

Finish: short, somewhat bitter.

Balance: in many ways, a very typical blended Scotch. However it offers a fuller, maltier nose than most cheap blends. A fine all-purpose whisky that goes nicely with ginger ale and a slice of lemon, or just lots of ice.
