A four year old Croftengea which Murray gives a 94. Notes on my scoring, you have to earn 50 points - you don't just get it for turning up.

Nose: Rubber. Malty top notes and some toffee bottom notes but the rubber wins(unfortunately).

Taste: Young feinty and gristy. All in a good way though. Nice mainland smoke delivery (Ardmoresque).

Finish: Long and biscuity with waves of smoke. Juicy & mouthwatering.

Balance: a game of two halves. I was initially set up to give this one a bit of a kicking because of the nose but the finish is so good that it's kind of won me over. It's not balanced but it is a lot of fun if you give it 30 mins to give you its best.
