I've always been curious with this whisky knowing that it contains, for the most part, Highland Park 18 and Macallan 18. If you are also curious, better hurry and grab one, because its discontinued.

Nose: Sherry, honey butter, macadamias, fudge, raspberries and guava lingering in the background.

Palate: This is really good! Its not a sherry monster, however, the sherry is assertive. The honey shines through and lingers along with chocolate fudge with macadamias. There are some florals and lush tropical fruits like guava and papaya. A slight peat and smoke peeks ever so slightly.

Finish: a long, pleasant finish with a sweet chocolate fudge lingering.

This is a great blended single malt. I love the fact that the blend of the Highland park 18 with the Macallan 18 gives it a good balance and distinctive character. Unbelievable how such a good product can be discontinued.
