Bottle and label immediately reminiscent of cheap pubs with fake wood finish chipboard bars. Still somehow manages to be adorable and nostalgic. Apparently it's very popular in officers' messes too, because of the Black Watch connection (the hackle). Rough, rough, rough on the attack, with a light springiness from the high grain content. Mellows admirably to a nice round finish with a hint of toffee and wet grass clippings from the inside of a lawnmover.

Not likely to win any awards for being classy, but a decent enough dram for when no one's watching you.
