A bottle that has been milling around the back of my collection for more years than I care to remember. It may have lost some of the more volatile and aromatic notes over that time, but the nose is still good. With all the weird and wonderful casks used these days it’s nice have a completely unsullied single cask malt to revisit occasionally. Nose: Barley malt vanilla, honey and apples. Taste: Creamy mouth feel. Barley malt sweetness with vanilla and some oak. Finish: Short and clean with the hints of apple and oak fading. An adventure in vanilla, and something a bit different to official distillery editions.
