Dun Bheagan Islay malt by Ian MacLeod is reported to be 8 yo. The reviewed sample is compliments of @Pudge72

Nose: light acrid smoke, followed immediately by sweet peat, which is earthy and gentle; floral perfume of carnations, a little grape fruitiness, and a little light malt showing mild grass and citrus; a little brine. Excellent balance

Body: a little thin

Taste: there is an early taste of acrid smoke, then the peat comes on quickly, showing some peat bitterness to go with the peat sweetness from the nose. This is not my favourite peat on the palate. The palate flavours other than peat and smoke are generally a little flat, and do not translate well onto the palate. From mid-palate onwards this moves toward the sour and bitter

Finish: sour and somewhat bitter, not a great finish

Balance: after the very good nose, balance is progressively lost. This is not a whisky I would recommend
