This Inchgower, also bottled by Bladnoch Forum, was bottled on 5thAugustu 2010, a week later than cask #6965. This cask #6966 is bottled at a slightly higher ABV. Surely they must be almost identical, no?

Yep, it is an identical twin on the nose. Gras, flowers, hay, potpourri, they all return, albeit in somewhat different amounts. This one seems a little less alcoholic and has a little more white fruit. Adding water gives it a milky edge. Coconut milk?

This one is also pretty feisty and creamy on the palate. Ginger, pepper, toasted oak. A salty lining. As complex as the twin cask. Equally good. Adding water makes it more creamy and sweeter.

On the long finish, it is mostly white fruit and liquorice that speak.

It is hard to say which I like best of the two, so I took the easy pathand scored them the same. Oh, this one does not need water, but can easily take it.
