I finish my line-up of Laffies with this 21 Year Old distillate from 1990 by Italian bottler Wilson & Morgan.

The peat is mild on the nose. It is sweet on winegums. Some vanilla and lemon. The maritime elements are all the way in the background. Pleasant enough, but rather docile.

It is very creamy and mouth coating. Good body. The vanilla sweetness is not brought under control by wonderful peat and light ashes. The long years have made this a very gentle dram.

The finish is still pretty spice with some more maritime flavours overtaking the sweetness.

Nice development and fairly priced at 120 EUR. Thanks to Jeroen for the sample.
