Tasting Notes by redeagle717
Nose: Intense, immediate rich grapes, raisins, and cinnamon. This is a younger, sherry whisky indeed. 21/25
Taste: Creamy, coffee, treacle, intense raisins, cocoa, vanilla, and lovely spice. 22/25
Finish: Lingering, this one does not finish quickly, developing sweetness and fresh brewed tea. For a sherry whisky, this does deliver like a younger one- which is what my instinct tells me by no age statement and the taste. Too bad this isn't a Glendronach Cask Strength at 12 years! My oh my, the possibilities! It's too bad this one is going to be discontinued. 22/25
Balance: Overall, this is what I expect from a sherry-matured whisky. There is nothing special about this whisky other than it is delicious and the malt enthusiast can readily agree! 21/25
86/100

@redeagle717. The one sold here in Vancouver is bottled as a 10 year old at 58.2%. I wonder if wherever you are you are getting a different version or an older or newer version.
