McCormick is a distiller of relatively cheap whiskey, stationed in Weston, MO; my home state. Anyway try to ignore the sentence structure errors from the previous statement. I acquired this because it was $20 and it was in a porcelain moonshine-esqe bottle which I thought was great. I wasn't too worried about its contents that's what mixers are for. This whiskey was 100% corn and aged 3 years in presumably oak.

Nose: Sweet with corn of course. A little yeasty and just a hint of vanilla. Quite basic but wasn't expecting complexity.

Body: Light-Medium mouthfeel. Not as rough as I expected. Very warming , great since its a little cold outside.

Taste: A little sweet with corn, corn, and more corn. Maybe a little vanilla if you root around too much. Still quite basic but for $20 and aged only 3 years in what looks like worn-out oak due to the little color displaced into the whiskey.

Finish: Short, clean, and warming. The use of oak if only for three years makes this whiskey more gentle than it could be. Easily mixable with such little overall flavor.

Overall: Better than some cheap bourbon, yet its to simple to decipher on its own. It would be a great candidate for a step into the direction of tasting "white dog".(White whiskey, since moonshine isn't moonshine if its legal.)
