Tasting Notes by Katipo

There is nothing wrong with this whisky, as long as you are not expecting too much. It is not complex, but light of body and easy enough to drink. It's the sort of whisky I could imagine drinking whilst sitting outside on the porch enjoying a fine summers eve sharing a yarn with friends. I do really like the bottle design, it would look good on a sea captains cupboard. I'd also be interested to try the older expressions. A richer body would enhance the flavours no end.

Perhaps I was a little harsh with the title. Was about a 3rd of the way through the bottle when I wrote the review. Still, after a second tasting my overall impressions didn't change.
