Daily Dram is a label by Bresser & Timmer, a Dutch bottler, that works together with The Nectar, a Belgian bottler. Nowadays, their joint bottlings sport the label 'Nectar of the Daily Drams'. What's in a name? Until recently they gave their whiskies funny names, mostly anagrams of the distilleries. Some examples: 'Glaring Echo' (Glen Garioch), 'Synch Elli' (Clynelish) or 'Feral Clangs' (Glenfarclas). And while the label of this malt says 'Daintier Bull' and has the animal on the label, the animal does not exist. It refers, obviously, to the distillery Tullibardine. Inventive and creative is the least you can say about this. But is the whisky any good?

The nose of this 16 Year Old Tullibardine is sweet with emphasis on gooseberry and citrus fruit. Quite some eucalyptus as well. Despite the high ABV, there is not prickle in the nose.

On the palate, it's very creamy. Apart from the sweet fruit, I also get mint tea and icing sugar. It does not need any water.

The finish is crispy and medium in length.

This is a good Tullibardine, that is a little hard to get nowadays.
