What is the next bottle you purchase or open?

@Wodha Absolutely! He called to ask if he could pick me up a bottle but my scotch budget is overdrawn so I had to turn him down. It was a wonderful surprise to have him show up 30 minutes later with the bottle to share! It's karma; I've been sharing my collection with him for awhile now. He's new to this hobby!

My 2nd trip to Chicago this summer will have a "History of American Whiskey" theme that will hopefully yield (inventory permitting @ Binny's) a Parker's Heritage 4th edition 10 yo wheated bourbon, and as a splurge (thanks to my wonderful wife who, while not being whisky fan, definitely appreciates my growing passion/appreciation/obsession for the subject), a bottle of Jefferson's Presidential Select 17 y.o., one of the last bottlings from the now closed Stitzel-Weller distillery...a distillery that I have seen described as the Brora of America for its history, quality and, its' closure. :( My third bottle will be a bottle of Junipero Gin that I look forward to enjoying with my better half.

Nothing beats picking up a 25 Year old for 50% off : ) Walked out of one of the local liquor stores this evening with a bottle of Tomatin 25 Year and a 50ml sampler of Edradour 10 Year for $79.73!

I want to get Ardbeg Supernova ,loved Ugi and Cory but I heard some mixed reviews on the Nova. Is it worth the cash?

@Cardinal, Ardbeg Supernova is a great drink, and a little different from the other Ardbeg expressions. Is it much better than Uigeadail or Corryvreckan? Not in my book.

@Cardinal It is totally worth the cash. would buy a case if I could. Tasted it multiple times with my brother and it is absolutely gorgeous.

I'll be picking up a bottle of Ardbeg Corryvreckan on Thursday, don't know what I'll open next.

I am eager to get myself a bottle of octomore 04_167. Fascinating how sweet this whisky is underneath the peat/smoke.

I reckon an A'bunadh will probably be next on the list, but I've got a little HP21 in the cabinet that's calling gently to me, so who knows.

For my next purchase I hope to get my hands on a bottle of the Bruichladdich 1991 Sherry Cask.

A'bunadh for me as well. Though, the next one I open will be the Aberlour 12 double cask. I wanted to try it before the A'bunadh for fear that it would be anti-climactic otherwise.

just got two bottles of Ardbeg supernova 2009 @58.9. one i will drink the other save. Also two dumpy bottles of Highland park- one 30yo the other 25yo big H!

I am hoping to get my hands on a bottle of the Glendronach Grandeur. I have high hopes, I would like to get it as soon as possible, the stuff is amazing.

Now that the dust has settled (and the bottles opened) on my 'birthday bottles', my next purchase (not for awhile, hopefully before Christmas) will be Compass Box Spice Tree as it is the last of my wishlist bottles that is marked as discontinued on the LCBO website.

In Vermont there are a number of whiskies you can't buy off the shelf but have to special order through the State to be picked up at your local spirits shop in town. I ordered an Aberlour 12, hopefully it will be in tomorrow.

After several older single malt purchases (Dalmore 15, Lagavulin 16, Balvenie 14, and a 94 Glenrothes), I think I'll give the budget a break and get something much cheaper, but still interesting. It's a toss up between two newly introduced blends to the US, the Isle of Skye 12 Year Old blend, or Compass Box's Great Kings Street blend.

Deciding between WTRB, FRSmB, or EWSB2001 to purchase next.

Highland Park 12. On sale for $35 it's tough to resist.

@Billyboy05055 What do you think of the Aberlour 12? I got a bottle a couple of weeks ago and have really enjoyed its balance of sherry and traditional cask flavors. Tasting it alongside a Macallan 12 Sherry Cask and a Balvenie Double Wood (sherry finish) it was definitely the standout.

Picked up Lagavulin 16 and a replacement Highland Park 12 yesterday; may pick up a two others today.

My dear wife just came back form a road trip to Grand forks for a girls day of shopping and brought me back a new bottle of Dalmore 12yr. A great value for the money IMHO and a good introduction to sherried whisky. Next I think will be a bottle of Glenfiddich 15 yr. Just bought the latest Malt advocate and saw the Ad for the Glenfiddich 15 yr, mmmmm the power of advertising (A large honeycomb surrounded by raisins).

Just bought and just opened a 1.75 L bottle of Compass Box The Peat Monster Reserve. There is much more fulsome flavour here than in the standard Peat Monster. It has lovely, lovely quality of the peat.

I think the next one to be opened will be the Lagavulin 16. The next one to be purchased is likely to be an Aberlour A'bunadh.

My next bottle will be the regular 6 year old Canadian Club in honor of the start of a new season of Boardwalk Empire. I've never had it before, and at $10 I figured, "why not?", and even if it is terrible it will still work as a mixer with some ginger ale or Coke.

next one opened up will probably be Connemara Peated or Blanton's Straight From The Barrel.

A bottle of Ardbeg Alligator which I picked up today.
