Cheese is a favorite of mine and recently I have tried a nice homemade Spanish Bar cake which I've mentioned before on another thread. Same flavour profile as many whiskys I love. Cocoa cinnamon salt nutmeg allspice. MMMMM too bad I've got to go to work now.

I find chocolate goes very well with a number of scotches, particularly those from the Islay region. Having a warm chocolate chip cookie with an Ardbeg 10... mmmm....

I agree with @ganagati that chocolates pair well with Islays. For me, I like Scharfenberger 80%cacao with my Uigeadail. Also, I like Blue Diamond smokehouse almonds with my Froygs. Chocolate macaroons from Bouchon with my Highland Park 30 and Cheetos Jalapeno with my Yamazaki 12.
No wonder my dog follows me when drinking...LOL

Not the easiest of drink to combine with a snack, what do you enjoy with a nice dram ?
I'm an amateur of cheese, and I fairly manage to combine them with a nice sherried whisky, however a single malt is more difficult, don't find too much except for nuts, mainly hazel and wall nuts
