I am writing this review since I cant seem to find a review of this (cheaper)blended scotch. Apparently, its all aged in Scotland, then this distillery imports it and blends it in a U.S. location. However,....(dont give up so quickly yet) as most blended scotches seem to go..this stuff is quite good for a "cheap" blended scotch. Much better than Dewars,Johnny walker,McGreggar clan, and many others of the "cheaper" blended side. Its bouquet is vanilla and caramel and its taste is somewhat similar..without the burning taste of too much alcohol. All in all...its a better (and cheaper on the wallet..If you live in the U.S.) brand of scotch which is better tasting and smelling then some of the bigger name brands which have lost their appeal in the blended market. (I use this brand as a daily compared to my single malts which I use on good occassions)

@edt101171, I don't think that this is actually from the A Smith Bowman distillery based in Virginia

Well on the bottle label it says Frankfort, KY.(U.S.A.) However, It has a small print with a website www.asmithbowman.com. This site takes you to the one in Virginia (U.S.A.) Its strange though, the site does not list its scotch version. They do however do list gin, vodka, and bourbon. Im guessing maybe cause they simply buy the stuff in scotland, and blend it here. (I assume)
