aberlour a'bhunadh (not sure how to spell it)

can anyone who is familiar and has tried this scotch on several occasions give me their detailed review? i like ardbeg, HP, laphroaig, talisker. i love smoky, peaty, tasty and complex scotches. thank you.

It's nothing like the ones you have mentioned. If smoke and peat are your thing you may not like this one, it is an all out cask strength sherry monster. The best of its kind if you like that type. It comes in batches, many of which have been well reviewed here. See if you can get a taste somewhere before you buy.

A'Bunadh is a sherry monster bottled at cask strength with a bit of spice and a trace of smoke (depending on the exact batch tasted). It is much closer to Macallan Cask Strength than Highland Park, or any of the other whiskies you named.
