To give a bit of a reference point, I absolutely have loved the several samples of batch 32 that I have had the good fortune to savour. An amazing honey soaked raisin note was very apparent in my most recent pour of it about a month ago (bottle open about 18 months, iirc).

@Pudge72 I liked the 32 as well. Have a reference sample stashed away. I think I liked the 33 and 44 a little more. I'm also interested in hearing people's impressions for the 47. I have a 46 for my birthday next year (opening the 45 in 2 weeks). By the time I approach my 47th birthday the batch 47 will be a distant memory. I can't buy ahead for every birthday, but if it's a really good batch I'd hate to miss out.

I poured my dram of 46 about 2.5 hours ago, and tossed in a shard of ice (in lieu of water) before putting it aside to go BBQ dinner for the family.
I now have a chance to really sit with it while watching the Jays play the Dodgers, and it's the best dram I've had from the bottle. Open for a year, but gassed after each pour, it seems to have less of an alcoholic bite than usual. I wonder if it's the the slightly more water than usual or the extra air time.
I'll have to do a H2H when I open the 47. Just need an occasion now that I'm 47.

In the interests of research, I would be interested to hear comparative feedback from anybody that has had a chance to sample batch 46 AND 47 as those seem to be what is kicking around in good old Ontario these days (or at least today, specifically). Thanks in advance for any information!
