I have especially liked Batch #'s, 5, 6, 9, 11, 19, 29, 42, 45. Of course, I / We have not tried them all and all of the batches did not come to Queensland. Most bottlings have something going for them! There are just two that did little for me #22 which I found flat and ordinary and #41 which, IMO, should never have been bottled, simply blended away, as I did!

I've had a few, and 34 was memorable. I also have an unopened batch 15 which I can find no reviews on (anyone remember trying it?).
It's likely a sin, but adding just a touch of Laphroaig Quarter Cask makes a wicked blend.

I've tried the 32,33,34,36,38,44. I think the 33 was one of my favourites (it was also my first...) and the 44 was up there. All but the 36 and 38 have been exceptional whiskies, but those 2 were the best of the best for me.
I still have to try the 27,28(a legendary batch?),30 (my in law has an uncracked bottle), 35,37,42 and 45. And maybe when the 47 comes up (it's a prime number after all) I'll pick one up.
Sorry about the typo in the original post...iPAD. I meant to say "someone on a Whisky website ..."

Hi Ya,
My favorite 3, in order, are the following:
Batch 11 - Perfect Balance. Batch 45 - Sherry Monster. Batch 24 - Fruity Gum Drops.

Only tried one so far (shame, I know!) but #19 was great. Wish I had another bottle tucked away. #40 waiting to be opened which I don't expect to live up to the same standard.

@KRB80, or anyone else, how was that Aberlour A'bunadh Batch # 57?
I am looking at a close-out price for it here, not great, but at $ 80 total the best we've seen here in years.

@Victor I enjoyed it. I've only had two batches prior to this one, both in the 40's (I forget the specifics), but I seemed to enjoy this batch more than those. From memory, this batch seemed to have more of that leather and spice note than the others but less of that over-the-top fruitcake bomb. I'm not the biggest sherry-bomb head in the world so this was welcomed.
This begs the question....Have there really been bad batches of A'Bunadh? Also, we here in the Northeast are truly spoiled with a lot of our prices it seems.

@KRB80 batch 36 was the worst batch I have had. I actually "returned" a bottle of it and traded it for another batch. 38 was a little harsh as well.
46 started out as a a low average batch but seems to be closing out on an upswing.
My favourite batches are 44 and 47, and maybe 33 (my first).

Someone I. Phone Whisky website said something to the effect of "there are great batches of A'Bunadh, and there are really great batches of A'Bunadh".
Many of us have tried multiple batches. Some only one or two. Others, none (so sad).
Which ones have been the most enjoyable for you?
