Have not yet seen it at the LCBO, but I'll be buying two bottles once I do!

Thanks for the heads up - just picked up one online. Not expensive at all. $60 US. Let you know how it fares!

49 is the current batch here in Australia but we tend to get things later than everyone else in the world.

BTW, have you tried batch #49 - the Whiskybase appears to rate this highly.

@sengjc I have a bottle of 49, but it is waiting for my 49th birthday. I wonder sometimes, buying ahead, will I even LIKE a'Bunadh that far in the future?

@Nozinan If you don't, Ill buy your leftover bottles ;)

True, I find personal preference does change. I find myself gravitating back to peat again after having done my rounds with sherry and Japanese with bourbon barrel on the side for a couple or so years. This time round it's the softer rounder peat of a Laphroaig or the meaty chewy peat of a Longrow/Springbank as opposed to the punchy and raw Ardbeg.

Have not tried the 50, but if you can find the 49, buy it. Its amazing.

Just sampled the 50 - it's quite nice. And from what I've heard 49 & 50 are quite close so I think you should be ok with either.

The BIG 5-0 has made its way to whiskybase. This represents a half century (in batch-years, not solar years) of A'Bunadh. Naturally it will likely cost more but the LCBO price is already so high no one will notice...if it gets here.
Has anyone seen the 50? Anywhere in the world?
If so, any thoughts as to the contents?
