Nothing sexist intended. I am just curious about the role of legs when you are evaluating a whisk(e)y. I tend to admire legs. (OK. So maybe the issue is a just a little sexist.) It is pleasant to hold a glass up to the light to catch the color and evaluate how well the legs develop. Do good legs reliably indicate good viscosity? Is a chewy viscosity a key factor in your enjoyment of the dram or do you find that legs are unrelated to the quality of the experience?
