Does anyone know how many bottles of Ardbeg auriverdes are to be released?

I'd be staggered if there weren't bucket loads available. After Alligator and Ardbeg Day, I think they realized that the demand would be high so, made sure that the next releases, of Galliano and Ardbog were huge.I can't see any reason why they wouldn't do the same for this one. Its money in the bank..!

Going to reuse this thread. Normally the Ardbeg Embassy some 20km from my home would host an Ardbeg day event, but never put anything on their website. Today it was removed from the official Ardbeg website. A pity, I was planning on getting a taste, not to actually buy a bottle. Would have been nice to grab a drink while buying a few other bottles. I think the whole Ardbeg day here in Belgium is pretty much a joke, it's not like the embassies are actually trying to promote Ardbeg. The local embassy had only the 10yo OB (apart from some IB Ardbegs) on its shelves, but in a corner of its shop

Went to Ardbeg Day in Oregon City yesterday (USA). Had a blast! Tried the new Auriverdes back to back with the Ten Year and Uigeadail.

Here's my verdict: thewhiskykirk.com/2014/06/…. There are written tasting notes, as well as a video that I made with my friend, Valerie, who has been an Ardbeg Committee member for many years and absolutely loves Ardbegs.

On another note I managed to get myself to a tasting here in Vancouver and had a few drams of the Auriverdes yesterday. I have to say I thought it was a heck of a dram -- though it won't be the cheapest around when it hits shelves here, supposedly next week. The Ardbeg rep told me it'll go for about $146.

There are some pretty good drams to be had for that price, so I'll have to think about it... But the thing with the Auriverdes was I found that I enjoyed it more as I drank it (I probably consumed about 4 oz or so... No need to be shy about it, I reasoned).

Ah well. Decisions, decisions.
