This one is a raw cask hogshead from March 2014. No fake color, no chill filtration, nuthin. Bottle 46 of 90.

Nose: .

Mouth: Tequila, plastic (in a good way), more white pepper, oak, goldenseal, pan-burnt malto meal, sour cream, hot dry hay.

Finish: Quite long and more of the same.

Analysis: This is either Ardbeg or Lagavulin. Hard to tell for sure, but I would guess Ardbeg. I don't like it quite as well as the Smoking Islay series, but I don't regret buying the bottle. I suspect it needs air. Even though I don't think this is Bruichladdich, it does faintly remind me of my PC6 days when I had a few bottles o' that Mean Mister Mustard banging around the house. I like the bottle design. Very dashing.

My nose got chopped off. I have no idea why. See tags for nose.
