Hi guys, I've recently discovered Bladnoch distillery, the related forum and their range of single cask bottlings...I must admit they're stunningly priced for the age and the strength they're bottled at...so I was wondering, are they consistent in quality? any good/bad experience to tell us about? and for Jean Luc and Piero, when are we going to bottle something with the Connossr Label on it? it will sell out immediately now that we are 5000!

I've tried a few and while they're always very cheaply priced (and therefore almost impossible to criticize), I've had the impression they're not always the best expressions. On the other hand some of their releases were excellent. In the end every bottler has ups and downs, so it's useful to find reviews before you spend your money.

@WhiskyNotes you have surely much more experience, could you name two or three exressions you found to be really good?

I've had several and am a big fan. They did a 28 year old Caol Ila last year a couple of years ago and it remains one of my favourite ever drams. They followed it up with a 30 year old last year which I have somehow restrained myself from opening yet. Other excellent bottlings include a 24 year Cambus and a 12 year old Highland Park. I also have a Linkwood and a Craggenmore from them that I haven't opened yet.
