Well after having this as possibly my granddad's favorite whiskey, and admittedly one of my own personal favorites, it shocked me to not have seen a review for it here

Firstly, the smell of this stuff isn't great, it smells overpoweringly of ethanol, but it does have undertones of wood and a little bit of fruit, which I think is oranges. Once you've put it in your mouth, the smell really does take over you. Much more pleasantly, it smells of pine, with a definite acid smell.

The taste, is incredibly smooth, it has a few hints of fruit, which leave your palate tingling, as well as a slight burn that just leaves you wanting a bit more.

I usually drink this on the rocks with lemonade, and it enhances the taste, with the lemonade complimenting it perfectly, and the coolness of the ice and heat of the whiskey combining very well.
