Originally only available in Taiwan, the Canadian Rockies 21 year old is readily available in Canada since 2016. According to various sources I have read, the spirit is distilled and aged by Highwood Distillers in Alberta and is a 100% corn whisky bottled at 46% ABV. The sleek elongated bottle has an attractive label and shape.

Subtle sweet butterscotch with a hint of pepper. A palate cleansed with fruit. Elegant and subtle while not over powering. A great sipping whisky.

@Nosebleed hid a bottle of this in my cabinet during one of his trips. A pity I wasn't able to open it with him...

@Nozinan, he also helped to put some in my cabinet, for which I am grateful.

I’ve derived tremendous enjoyment from it over the years. Often used in some of my blends, although delicious on its own, it is an excellent base, a canvas upon which to create a collage of Canadian whisky terroir.
