Sure, @AdamH, almost anything in the US beats Ontario for pricing. I suggest that you check with @misslauren. She is in Buffalo.

Premier is a great store. I would recommend going to little liquor stores that are less traveled that might have higher end items that just don't move. For example I found a small liquor store in December 2012 and picked up a Macallan 18 for $150. Just some food for thought.

Are there any Buffalonians or people from Amherst area that could recommend good liquor stores to purchase scotch (preferably Islay but not excluding other regions) at very reasonable prices. Or have any Canadians noticed any good cross border shopping deals at retail stores or Duty Free Americas? I'll probably visit Premier Wine & Spirits but all other recommendations are greatly appreciated. I'm limited to 1-2 bottles but I'd like to bring something back that is significantly better value than what is available at our monopolized government liquor retailer, LCBO. Case in point Ardbeg 10 750 ml is $99, Uigeadail is $166. Thanks.
