Pours a very light gold, a bit of smoke and minerality on the nose. Tastes a little spicier and hotter than many Irish whiskeys. A new oak flavor. Reminds me a bit of bourbon.

Very much agree with the statement about being hotter than many Irish whiskies. And for me, it got even more hotter with the addition of alittle water. I did not think that possible.
