I bought a 200ml bottle of Provenance Glen Spey 2002 Single Cask 9 Year Old Un-Chill 46% from Mc Gibbon. I didn't have a lot of expectations, I originally wanted the Caol Ila in the same collection, but they ran out. I though this one would be a smooth light Speysider to add to my cabinet —and a nice little bottle to collect/use—but it smells and tastes like pure alcohol mezcal. It's probably the worst whisky I had. Do you think this bottle is damaged or is it just a bad whisky?
