Wilson & Morgan, the bottler with Italian roots, married no less than 6 sherry casks together for this Highland Heart, which was apparently enough to bring just over 4,000 bottles to the market. That's about 530 bottles per cask. They were all oloroso sherry casks from 2011 that were reduced to a drinking strength and then came to the market as Highland Heart.

Sweet nose on pastries with apricots, milk chocolate and espresso. Cloves and nutmeg.

Great mouthfeel. A tad sour on agrums and red wine. Cherries, apricots and peach with a hint of mango. Little bitter as if I have bitten on the kernel of a grape. Gets really vinous from the second sip.

The aftertaste is medium length, spicy and sweet and sour.

Not a top dram, but still a solid malt... especially if you like wine. And for sale for only 35 EUR. Thanks, Manny.
