@tabarakRazvi
I was very impressed, I now know what to say too someone who tells me how to drink my whisky!
I really like this site for it's interaction with other whisky drinkers, I really like maltmadness.com for it's interactive map, Hotlist & Shitlist, & Ralfy.com for his YouTube reviews. Recommendations would be a neat tool to add. I also like sites that show interactions with distillers i.e finding out that Ben Nevis whisky has taken a dive because the owners don't care about it. I would also Dig reviews on whisky bars & shops and personalised recommendations i.e if you love laphroaig like I do try purchasing this brand, bottle, & age and why to do so. A section on new independent distillers is always interesting i.e London Whisky

You have a very attractive blog site. I especially like the enthusiasm and love of the whisky which you convey. Nice work.

Nice work! I like the cleanliness of the site, personal feel of the reviews and the variety of whisky´s you wrote about. How many times will you be posting reviews?(1 per week or 1 per month?)

Thanks for the positive reviews! Appreciate you taking the time out to have a read. I'm planning on updating the site at least once a week with about 4/5 reviews. Well, that's the plan anyway! Why don't you subscribe to the blog and get notified when ever there are new reviews being posted.

Good but was the HP18 really a point better the next day you tried it? Posibly your scores are a bit Malt Advocate in style i.e. 90+ alot of the time.
I like your writing style and the look of the site.
Would i add it to my reading list? Yes

@Onlyhalfmad thank you for your positive comments! One of the HP18 reviews was erroneously posted, hence the duplication. And, yes, my ratings are more often than not in the 90s and late 80s. This is because I try and find the good in every malt I drink and keep an open mind. If there's a malt that I don't like I will re-visit it two or three times before forming an opinion. The Ben Riach 20 is one such example. I don't have the heart to re-taste it and post a bad review.
But I guess I'll have to.
Please subscribe to my blog if you can - I would love to stay in touch with fellow malties around the world!

One comment, your banner picture is 333 pixels high. Many of today's laptop have a maximum vertical screen resolution of 766 pixels (even the 17"as they are now 16:9 ratio rather than the older 4:3 ratio). This means that on most of today's laptops you are eating up half of the screen with the banner picture.

@olivier thanks for your comment. However, my banner size is dictated by the Word Press theme I am using. Other than that how did you like the content?

Very nice site. Very clean and straightforward reviews, and you have a great varied selection of whiskies with posted reviews. I will definitely return in hopes of seeing more reviews. Good job!!

I like your blog, very clear and tidy structure and your writing style is great. You really seem to like Amrut, maybe because of your local vicinity to India?! Greetings and keep it going.

@tabarakRazvi Nice site, great reviews. Bookmark added.
One thing to note. Under Some Basics, you say "But before we get to that here are some basics on the different types of whiskies.", then unless I missed it you don't come back to the many ways to serve whisky mentioned.

@monitorpop Thanks for pointing that out. If you go back to the section 'Some Basics' you'll see I've linked "...drinking the stuff..." to the section on nosing and tasting which is what I meant by tasting a whisky!
Hope it works for you now and many thanks for your valuable insight!

I enjoyed your site, very good layout. I'd like to see an RSS link where the facebook and other social media links are so I could pop it into my reader.
The only constructive thing I could add would be to start building some content on your reviews, as they are all very brief. As you come back and do further tastings of a whisky perhaps you could add more notes, company and distillery history, regional history, social media trends, etc.. Rather than being a collection of brief noes it could become quite the repository for substantial content, as the format and visual is there to make it quite successful. Best of luck to you!

@9iron Thanks for your review. I've added an RSS feed to the top of the page for your reader. I will be going back and re-writing most of my tasting notes and making them more detailed. And I really like your suggestion on making this more of a guide. Many thanks for your input!
