I am a new member and I have a question for you. What is the value of a 103 year-old-bottle of Gooderham and Worts Limited Canadian Rye Whisky? This bottle was found hidden in a wall of a house under renovation. The bottle appears to be the size of a modern 26 oz bottle. All labels and seals intact. Full up to the neck line. Was in a basket of rye stalks.

I'm assuming the whisky bottle is 103 years old, but not the contents. How many year old whisky is it?

The seal on the cap says it was bottled in 1912. Seal is intact.

Does it state anything regarding when it was distilled?

I don't have the bottle here, but have photos I took of it....have zoomed in and can't see when it was distilled....that info must be on the other side of the seal that I didn't get a picture of.

That bottle is a piece of history. If you want to learn about it, if you'd like to open it and share your thoughts, or open it and share, then please keep us updated. If you're looking to sell the bottle, please post elsewhere.

Without evidence I'd have to call 'bullshit' on this one.
