I already tried this last summer, but did not make any notes. I would like to correct that mistake now, because this is a beautiful grain. Distilled in the year old birth of Dearly Beloved, so it must be good, right? Beautiful colour, anyway.

Soft nose on banana, coconut and varnish. Some vanilla custard and pencil shavings. For a minute there it reminds me of a good rum, mixed with a soft bourbon. White chocolate kicks in with a vengeance after a few minutes of breathing. Wonderful.

The body may be somewhat light, but it is immediately very tasty. White chocolate appears first, with some puffed rice. Then coconut, unripe banana, soft apricots and almond paste. Yes, good! Some white pepper and ginger for seasoning. Lovely, lovely, lovely.

In the finish , which is not very long but not very short either, some chocolate and coconut pastry appears.

This one cannot be found anywhere anymore, alas. What a feast, a present from my buddy Foamy.
