Cool marketing. Squeezing the extra whisky from the oak barrels. And the oak shows for sure. This is a noticeably strong whisky, and on the palate it's oak, oak and more oak. Some vanilla and cherry show up later, but my palate was kind of overwhelmed by the oak. It's a full bodied drink and not for the faint of heart. But it's enjoyable for sure. I don't feel like I have to mix it with coke like the white label.
