Just treated myself to a bottle of...

Just acquired Bruichladdich 12-Yr 2nd Ed, Links and Rocks. They came in metal cans painted with attractive scenery, and with an interesting distillery booklet, and the Links included a free golf towel ! I now hope to find some time and an appropriate moment to sample the bottle contents. I also wonder if I should even open the Links, since it is the 2nd in the "Links Collection", and the St Andrews is already selling for over $ 200 USD ! Might be better than investing in stocks ... and always drinkable in a market crash.

Just came back from the Quaich Whisky Bar/Store in Singapore where I tried an Auchentoshian 3 Woods, Taketsuru 12 yo, Laphroaig Quarter Cask, and Springbank 15 yo. Left the bar/store with fewer brain cells, but on the plus side, a nice bottle of Taketsuru 21 yo (hard to get in France).
