2 reviews in 2 nights, on a roll here :)

I bought this bottle at Spirits in the Sky in Leuven, Belgium. I was tasting whiskies with my father when I noticed a small stall with only 2 whiskies, Kilchoman Inaugural and Kilchoman new spirit. Tasted the new spirit first, the inaugural afterwards, bought a bottle right away :)

alright, the notes!

nose: smoke, peat, a small hint of citrus fruit, quite tickly (:))

mouth: quite sweet at first, caramel?, stays a bit the same, not very complex ...

finish: very strong finish, wet wood, lingering sensation, after a while pepper and ashes!

Conclusion: I really(!) like this whisky. Yes it's young, no it's not complex, yes I've had better, but damn it's good for a 3 yr old :) Really promising for future releases (haven't tasted the Autumn release yet, hope to do so in 2 weeks :)).
