Laphroaig Cask Strength 10

I've only tasted the 003 and loved it! Drank the bottle in about two month's time. Fairly fast for me.

007 will be a fun batch number, in the future.

The name is Laph, Laph Roaig. I take my scotch neat, neither shaken nor stirred.

Interesting discussion @rigmorole. My fav is batch 003. I never tried the first batch and it's gone a bit silly money now so I probably won't bother. For me 003 was the perfect balance of "punch you in the face Laphroaig", smoke, peat, sweetness and salt. My 005 is yet to be opened so would be keen to hear other peoples thoughts.

I have Batch 004 but Im waiting to open it with a friend as he is the only one among my friends that likes the region of Islay especially Laphroaig as much as I do.

I have had two tasting sessions recently where I put the four batches I have head to head (001, 002, 004, and 005 . . . I am missing batch 003).

I have to say that they are all close . . . so I am really splitting hairs. That said, I think my favorite is 004 . . . with 001 a close second.
