Anyone hear if the US will get any Batch 006 of the 10 Year Cask Strength? Seems like Germany has most of it, aside from the UK, I guess. Not sure at this point where the bottles are going.

Sadly this isn't here in Sydney. I'd love to grab a bottle of this.

Cracking dram, this. Just did a review a couple of days ago. Stormier and darker than it's predecessors. Shame it's such a tough one to find in your neck of the woods. Can't even order from the site?

@MaltActivist To which site are you referring? Here in the states we can order from Europe but the shipping becomes cost prohibitive if sent to the USA.

I will check out your review. Will be curious to see how the 005 stacks up against the 006. I still have two unopened bottles of the 005 and one open now about half down. I was disappointed with the 005. I know from your reviews that you love it. For me, I need just a little water to make it comfortable and not so hot on the tongue. I've found that water turns the 005 too bitter for my taste. With the 003, water actually opened it up and brought out the meaty flavors, which I love.

As you may remember from past discussions, I do enjoy savory elements in a peated whisky. I've found that the 005 with even a little water turns bitter and sharp. Hoping the 006 can be had here. It seems it won't turn bitter with water but I'm not sure.

I am still mourning the loss of my last bottle of 003. And of course I would dearly love to try a Red Stripe. Never tried one of those. Well, thanks again for your response and as always love your reviews!

Just watched your review vs the 2013 Cairdeas. Loved it and thanks for the mention!

I refer to the Laphroaig site where you can still find the 006. I managed to secure a couple of bottles.

Good luck!
