This whisky was truly the highlight of my day at the distillery I found it wow outstanding brilliant and obviously I am not alone in my conclusion due to the fact that this little beauty won itself a Silver medal for Best in Class at the International Wine and Spirit Competition in 2011.

So onto the whisky.

Sexy aroma with complex sweet barley spice and honey malt notes. It was like foreplay

Moving on. The mouth feel was great dry but not in that sharp way that some other 61%’s have. Then the experience relay takes off with the intenseness of this beautifully rich complex whisky. Then to calm it all down with such a smooth finish.

What a wonder to admire from the depth to its blood red jarrah to the fineness of the finish this whisky is one to be respected.
