Macallan 12 Year Old fine oak

have just bought a bottle of this whilst on holiday this week..... Very drinkable, lovely and smooth 12 yo offering from this renowned distillery. On the nose I'm finding apples and cinnamon with toffee and vanilla oak... The arrival is smooth and delicate with the perfect balance of sweet and savoury, a great after dinner dram... Nice coating of the palate, feel like you are experiencing something unique and rare.

Overriding flavours are apples, limes, cinnamon, light oak, sherry bourbon and nutmeg.
