It seems to be a "USA only" release.
Doesn't appear in any other markets.
Very little is known about this release.

Sounds like it's a limited release. Maybe small batch. 1% of the casks at Macallan could could be 500 casks for all we know...

Does anyone know any details about this single malt? All I can find is this statement, "Hand crafted using an exceptionally high proportion of first fill sherry oak casks. Handpicked by our Whisky Maker. From less than 1% of the casks maturing at The Macallan Distillery." What the heck does that mean? And why does it cost close to $300?
