I am not well acquainted with so many nuances of scotch tasting. However, I am impressed by the fact that ALL the scores for this expression are in the mid- to upper- 80s if not higher. This should be a strong clue.

My basic sentiment is that this is a very refined and delicious scotch. I find a wee bit of ice is very positive and opens it to its full sweetness. NOTE: "wee" means "wee"...:-)

I am currently scoring as 88 as I am still working on developing a relative sense of scores. However, I know that no one will be disappointed in purchasing this scotch.

BTW - I purchased at Total Wines in Lynnwood WA for $70 - a pretty good price it seems. Of course I had to pay the WA State taxes...:-(
