Hi, I am currently on vacation in Indonesia and stopping by the Taipei International airport I saw some whisky that I have never heard of before; Matisse (matissethailand.com). And since I cannot find anything on that site either, I am asking you guys if you know something.

Available were a 12 and 21 years old blend, a 15 and years old single malt. It says "scotch" on the label. Anyone has ever tasted that? Is it any good?

I also saw a Kavalan, and since it might be my only occasion I will grab one of them for sure. But I am wondering what second bottle to bring back home. I also saw a Ardbeg Corryvreckan which is my choice for the moment...

Matisse Old 15 YO (Single malt) "A magnificent dream" Region: Highland Colour: Honey, amber nectar Aroma: A complex yet well balanced combination of full f|avour and Slight sweetness, with the fish of very light spiciness. Has won awards IWSC gold in 2010 silver in 09 and 08, and another gold in 07. The combination of the pure water, the high Highland air, the copper spirit stills and the 15 long years in oak hogsheads casks that previously spent many years housing bourbon, has resulted in this full bodied yet sweet Single Malt Scotch Whisky. The Matisse 15 year old Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky is said to be well worth the Highland climb!
Found on their website.

I have never tasted it but if the price was right I would grab one but I prefer Highland over Islay . Tough choice.
