Non-chill filtered single malt whisky, that's been distilled in Bowmore for 2001-2010. Finished at Bruichladdich distillery in Port Pipes. Bottled by Murray McDavid. Limited edition of 1066 bottles.

Port and strong peat go together very well, like sherry and smoke. They're Starsky and Hutch, completing each other. Great whisky.

Nose: Strong peat right at the start. With time, the peat turns into toffee. Sweet but bit salty and earthly. Hints of sea breeze.

Taste: Peat dominates sweetly. Grass and other earthly notes. Hints of berry dryness. Water brings strong mint into the mix.

Finish: Peppery and peaty with berry freshness. Lingonberry being the main thing. Mint comes into the finish too, when adding water.

Balance: Non-complex but still a great and powerful dram. Sweet and earthly single malt.
