1) Drink MORE whisky, for sure. 2) Decant whisky into my new set of 20-something x 200ml bottles as I go, to prevent oxidisation. I resolve to not let a good whisky ever go bad again (as I have [or had] been guilty of being a little slow at times to polish off my bottles). I will recruit friends if need be to help me enjoy my malts! and 3) Become more consistent with my scoring using the 100 point system. This will also involve drinking more whisky to develop a better sense of what separates a great malt from a good malt. 4) Acquire a bottle of Port Ellen. I think that's it for me, in terms of realistic whisky expectations for 2012. [NOTE: Distillery tour of Scotland would be fantastic, but not practical or affordable just yet!]
